On Friday, June 26, KAMAZ PJSC Client Day was held in Almaty.
Potential buyers and key company clients were invited to the meeting—representatives from sectors where equipment reliability is paramount: commercial carriers, farmers, and builders from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The organizers prepared a rich program for them that allowed not only to familiarize themselves with the new products but also to assess their practical benefits. During the presentation, representatives of the leading Russian engineering company detailed the innovative line of KAMAZ K5 generation vehicles. Guests learned about its key advantages, service maintenance, and favorable conditions for vehicle purchase. Special attention was given to practical aspects: how the equipment helps optimize business processes and reduce operating costs.
At the exhibition, participants of the event could get acquainted with the flagship models of K5 generation tractors. The exposition featured the KAMAZ-54902, KAMAZ-54901, KAMAZ-65955, and KAMAZ-65659.
Kamaz-54902 (4×2) tractor unit– a modern vehicle designed for regional transportation. Its strengths are reliability, economic efficiency, and driver comfort. The vehicle is equipped with a modern comfortable cabin 2.3 meters wide, with a low roof and a single sleeping berth. The tractor is built on a new sanctions-resistant component base, equipped with a KAMAZ-689 engine producing 390 horsepower and a 12-speed automated manual transmission.
Kamaz-54901 (4×2) prime mover– the flagship of the K5 model range. Intelligent safety systems, an ergonomic cabin with two sleeping berths, a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display and a voice assistant – everything is provided so that the driver feels comfortable even on long trips. The tractor is equipped with an economical six-cylinder engine with 560 horsepower and a 12-speed automated manual transmission with a retarder.
Kamaz-65955 (6×6) tractor truck– an all-wheel-drive model designed for heavy-duty operations. The model is equipped with a KAMAZ-910.50-560 engine with a displacement of 12.9 liters and a power output of 560 horsepower, as well as a 16-speed manual gearbox. The gearbox features low noise levels and high efficiency, which helps reduce fuel consumption. Among the advantages of the model are an extended maintenance interval (up to 80,000 km) and engine durability (up to 1 million km). All of this has been made possible thanks to modern high-tech solutions.
Tractor truck KAMAZ-65659 (6×2)– this is a three-axle version of the KAMAZ-54901 tractor. The model’s feature is an additional lifting axle, which allows increasing the total weight of the road train to 44 tons without violating weight load regulations. This is especially important when traveling on interregional transport routes. The tractor is equipped with a wide high cab with a flat floor, an engine with 482 hp, and a 12-speed automated manual transmission. Suitable for use with various semi-trailers (height of the fifth wheel coupling device 1150-1170 mm).
The event also included an entertainment program. The “Client Day” once again confirmed that Russian automotive equipment remains in demand in the markets of friendly countries, including Kazakhstan.
