Beijing, June 27 /Xinhua/ — In January-May 2026, the profit of large industrial enterprises in China increased by 18.8 percent year-on-year, according to data released on Saturday by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China.
According to departmental data, for the first five months of the current year, the total profit of large industrial enterprises – with an annual turnover of each from the main activity of not less than 20 million yuan (about 2.93 million USD) – amounted to 3.14 trillion yuan.
In particular, in May, the profit of the country’s large industrial enterprises increased by 21.1% compared to May 2025. -0-
