Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting on the fuel market situation with the participation of representatives of federal and regional authorities, as well as industry companies.
Within the framework of the meeting, participants examined the current situation with the supply of oil products to Russian regions, and also analyzed the pricing process in terms of federal districts and subjects of the country.
Special attention was paid to the needs of rural producers for fuel for carrying out harvesting work. The indispensability of uninterrupted provision of agrarians with essential resources during the period of seasonal peak demand was emphasized, which directly affects the pace and quality of field work.
Industry company representatives spoke about the current load of production capacities, the schedule for the release of petroleum products, and the measures being taken to saturate the domestic market. In particular, data was presented on efforts to ensure stable fuel supplies to consumers, including the agricultural sector.
Alexander Novak instructed the relevant agencies, together with regional authorities and industry companies, to develop a clear interaction algorithm for the prompt provision of fuel resources to agricultural producers and farmers. It is also necessary to work out additional measures to support the fuel market aimed at ensuring its stability and improving the efficiency of supplying key consumer categories.
