Li Qian emphasized China’s intention to deepen cooperation with Cambodia in areas such as infrastructure, agriculture, environmentally clean energy sources, digital economy, and artificial intelligence. He added that both sides should always strive to create a favorable and safe environment for bilateral cooperation and expand exchanges in such fields as culture, tourism, and education, so that the friendship between the two countries can be passed down from generation to generation.
Hun Sen, for his part, stated that the relations between the two countries have entered a new stage of building a Cambodia-China community of shared destiny in a new era, adding that Cambodia intends to maintain dynamic contacts at a high level with China, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, and unlock the potential for cooperation in such areas as digitalization, green transformation, the blue economy, supply chains, and finance.
