Beijing, June 26 /Xinhua/ — The Chinese news agency Xinhua officially launched a news robot based on artificial intelligence (AI) in Beijing on Friday, named “Xinhua Yidian.”
The news bot uses its own data from Sinqua and advanced large-scale models to provide highly reliable content created with the help of AI, assisting users in learning, research, and writing texts.
As stated at the launch ceremony by CEO Xin Shua Fu Hua, this project is a bold step by Xin Shua towards the era of AI.
According to Fu Hua, “Xin Hua Yudian” is not only an intellectual tool, but also a platform that Xin Hua strives to develop jointly with its users through continuous learning and model optimization, giving primary attention to political theory, core values, advanced culture, and authoritative information.
The news bot has four functional modules: AI chat, subscriptions and notifications, knowledge base, and AI assistant center. It offers seven key functions: studying theory, source search, news recommendations, news questions and answers, information verification, problem analysis, and article writing.
