The IX All-Russian Festival “Architectural Heritage” took place in Rostov-on-Don.
This is an annual nationwide event that unites leading Russian and foreign experts, architects, urban planners, restorers, forming a platform for open dialogue and demonstration of the best achievements in the field of protection and development of Russia’s architectural heritage.
As part of the festival, the contest “Best Student Work” took place. The Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was represented by the Department of Architectural Environment Design, which submitted bachelor’s diploma projects in the field of “Architectural Environment Design” dedicated to the restoration and renovation of industrial architecture monuments. The scientific supervisors were the head of the Department of Architectural Environment Design, a candidate of architectureMaria Granströmand associate professor of the departmentYan Korzhempo.

All three female students are currently studying in the first year of the master’s program majoring in “Urban Environment and Interior Design.”
