The pavilion of the Zabaykalsky Krai at the “Street of the Far East” exhibition, which will be held in Vladivostok from September 3 to 9 as part of the XI Eastern Economic Forum, will tell about the achievements of the region in industry, the renewal of urban spaces, and the improvement of people’s quality of life.

“Zabaykalsky Krai shows confident growth in the pace of economic development. The region ranks in the middle of the list of Far East regions in terms of attracting investment. To support new investment projects, the TOR “Zabaykalsky” has been created, and additional measures of financial and infrastructural support are in place. But most importantly, the social sphere is developing, and living conditions for people are improving. By order of the President, the implementation of master plans has begun, and the modernization of social infrastructure is being carried out with the help of a presidential unified subsidy.”About what changes are taking place in Transbaikalia and how the region will continue to change, participants and guests of the Eastern Economic Forum can learn by visiting the region’s exposition, and see how the region lives and how it sees its future,” said the Deputy Chairman of the Government – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the organizational committee of the Eastern Economic Forum, Yuri Trutnev.

“Zabaykalsky Krai is a vast territory with the richest mineral resources. And our main wealth is the people who live, work, and create the future here. Our pavilion at the ‘Street of the Far East’ showcases our identity: how we preserve traditions and at the same time boldly look forward. Here, everyone can feel the energy of Zabaykalsky Krai through art, our projects, the taste and warmth of the land we love. We look forward to guests! We will show what we are proud of!” noted the governor of Zabaykalsky Krai, Alexander Osipov.

The architecture of the exhibition pavilion will be connected with the features of nature: the facades will combine “rocky” elements with geometrized facets made of composite and glass materials. The organizer of the exhibition is the “Roscongress” Foundation, supported by the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District.

At the entrance, visitors will encounter the monumental 9.5-meter composition “Solar Myth” by artist and sculptor Dashi Namdakov. The avant-garde art object depicts a mighty Siberian elk, made of bronze, whose antlers form a “solar” halo – a symbol of cultural heritage and natural energy of Transbaikalia.

The functional zones of the pavilion are presented using modern digital technologies, ensuring a high level of convenience, efficiency, and interactivity.

In the “Investment Projects of Transbaikalia” zone, leading enterprises of the region will be presented using modern technologies. Visitors can expect multimedia holographic and panoramic projections, as well as interactive panels that demonstrate the achievements of the region in industry and culture. Special attention will be given to major investors – “Udokan Copper” and the Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Plant. Panoramic screens and controllers allow users to control the virtual space, creating a full immersion effect and emphasizing the importance of these enterprises for the economy of Transbaikalia.

The “Achievements of the Trans-Baikal Territory” zone will present the key results of the socio-economic development of the region over recent years.

Separate attention is given to the renewal of urban spaces and the implementation of master plans for Chita and Krasnokamensk, carried out under the instruction of President Vladimir Putin. It will be possible to learn about changes in urban infrastructure and the implementation of new investment initiatives in the “Master Plans” section.

In the “Tourist Potential” zone, visitors will be able to learn where to go and where to stay in Zabaykalsky Krai. The region’s tourism opportunities will be presented through a projection table and an interactive mandala.

Undoubtedly, the attention of visitors is attracted by the “Historical and Cultural Exhibition” zone. Here will be presented a museum exhibition with works of art and historical artifacts reflecting the cultural heritage of the region.

Special attention is given to supporting participants in the special military operation. In the “SMO” zone, the latest models of unmanned aerial vehicles “Veter” and their modifications, including civilian models, as well as a mobile thermal imaging visual detection system for UAVs, will be presented.

Within the framework of the street exhibition, a sales area will be organized for the products of Transbaikalian manufacturers “Flavors of Transbaikalia” and “Made in Transbaikalia.”

Classical, jazz, folk, and pop numbers will welcome guests of “Dalny Vostok Street” performed by Transbaikal artists. Programs have been prepared by musicians of the State Russian Ensemble named after Nikolai Budashkin, the chamber ensemble “Tet-A-Tet”, dancers of the show ballet “Klyukva”, vocalists of the pop-jazz group “Jem” and soloists of the Transbaikal Regional Philharmonic, as well as artists of the National Song and Dance Theater “Amar Sain.”

The 11th Eastern Economic Forum will be held from September 1 to 4 at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. During these days, the exhibition will be accessible to forum participants, and on September 5, 6, and 7, it will open to the general public. The organizer of the EEF is the Roscongress Foundation.
