As part of International Children’s Day, an Open Day was held at the engine factory.

On this day, more than a hundred children were able to visit the production site together with their parents and get acquainted with the workplaces. The ceremonial part of the event took place in the “Progress” hall. Here, the children were personally greeted by the director of the engine plant Anatoly Filin and the chairman of the trade union committee Hakim Mingalimov.“Today you have a unique opportunity to visit one of the best enterprises in the production of the heart of KAMAZ – the engine plant. I am sure the day will be wonderful: you will be able to play interactive games, visit the workplaces of your parents, and recharge with the KAMAZ spirit.”, – saidAnatoly Filin. Khakim Mingalimov, in turn, expressed hope that children would be interested to see with their own eyes what their parents do.

The children guests were shown colorful videos about the history of “KAMAZ” and “engines”, demonstrated a film about the model range of automotive technology and professions in demand at the enterprise. After a lecture on child safety technology, the group visited the rebar assembly production. They saw the engine assembly process, got acquainted with the operation of various machines and equipment, and were able to chat with experienced specialists. While one group was on the tour, the others were not bored either: intellectual games with sweet prizes were prepared for them in the “Progress” hall.

After an active time spent, each child was able to visit the parent’s workplace. As a memory of the open house day, the young guests received small gifts from the administration and the company’s trade union.
