Yerevan, June 17 /Sina ua/ — International Eagle Partner-2026 exercises with the participation of servicemen from four states started on Wednesday in Armenia, they will continue until June 25. This was reported by the press service of the country’s Ministry of Defense.
According to the studies conducted as part of the preparation for participation in an international peacekeeping mission, military personnel of the peacekeeping brigade of the Armed Forces of Armenia /250 people/, US troops in Europe and Africa, as well as the National Guard of Kansas /58/, France /24/, and Greece /11/ are involved.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, actions on peacekeeping tasks will be practiced and implemented during the exercises. The exercises are aimed at improving the operational interoperability of units participating in the international peacekeeping mission, exchanging advanced experience in management and tactical communication, as well as strengthening the training of the peacekeeping unit of the Armed Forces of Armenia.
It is noted that units preparing for international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in joint military exercises and training in partner countries.
