Beijing, June 17 /Xinhua/ — China, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council and the largest developing country in the world, consistently takes an active part in the construction of the global governance system, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday.

Van Yi, who is also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, announced this at a press conference dedicated to the publication of the White Paper entitled “Forming a More Just and Rational Global Governance System: China’s Concepts, Initiatives, and Actions.”

China advocates for the formation of a community with a shared future for mankind and takes on a leading role in bringing genuine multilateralism to life, said Wan Yi.

China remains unchanged as a builder of the world across the globe, a contributor to global development, a defender of international order and a provider of public goods, while making constant efforts to reform and improve global governance, added the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC.
