An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Until April 10, everyone has the opportunity to participate in collecting humanitarian aid for the victims of the flooding in Dagestan, which is being organized by the State University of Management.

What might be needed?

  • Warm clothes, footwear, blankets;
  • Hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, diapers, etc.);
  • Long-term storage food products (cereals, pasta, sugar, tea, etc.).

The aid collected by the State University of Management will be sent to the village of Mamedkala, where 258 private houses were flooded.

We are waiting for everyone who cares at the CUWP Gallery until 6:00 PM on April 10.

Recall that the first wave of this disaster hit the Republic of Dagestan from March 28 to 31. 283 settlements were flooded and cut off. The second stage of the flooding began on the night of April 4. The dam at the Gedzhuskom reservoir, which was overflowing due to heavy rain, turned out to be breached – water rushed onto the villages of Miaylovka, Duzlak, Zarechnaya, Sulep, Urgun, and the settlement of Mamedkala.
