At the bottom in Chengdu, officials, representatives, and scientists from 11 countries gathered. Having familiarized himself with the history of cooperation between local universities and enterprises in the film and television industry, New Zealand geopolitical commentator Geoffrey Miller said that the combination of technology and cultural-creative sphere has allowed the creation of numerous jobs. He proposed to continue investing in education and preparing qualified specialists.
At the Innovation Center for Humanoid Robots in Chengdu, foreign guests learned about the history of the development of intelligent humanoids, the process of their training, and other aspects. Georgi Mirkov Georgiev, special correspondent for international affairs of the Bulgarian newspaper “24 Chasa,” noted: “Today China has already achieved a high level of digitalization, and we can learn a lot from it.” He also expressed optimism regarding the prospects for the development of robotics in China.
During the visit, foreign participants unanimously noted the rapid pace of development in China. They personally witnessed a noticeable improvement in the ecological situation, a constant scientific and technological breakthrough, and a steady increase in the population’s standard of living.
Fifteen years ago, when Jeffrey Miller first visited China, calculations were still done in cash. Now he happily observes how digitalization brings benefits to ordinary people. “Today, people here live much more comfortably than ten or twenty years ago. Watching the changes in China, I have discovered a lot for myself,” he said.
