On Monday, June 16 /Wuhan/ — The World Youth Development Forum-2026 opened in the city of Wuhan /administrative center of Hubei Province, Central China/, in which more than 500 representatives of UN institutions, international youth organizations, and youth from more than 120 countries around the world participated.
Within the framework of the forum titled “Youth – the driving force of development for a better world,” three thematic sessions were organized on the creative economy and fashion culture, artificial intelligence and expanding youth opportunities, as well as volunteering and poverty reduction. Participants from countries such as France, Brazil, Germany, Australia, Kenya, and China presented projects led by youth and covering a wide range of issues, including climate governance, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
At an event, the Sin Sue Institute, an analytical center at the Sin Sue Information Agency, published a report titled “Chinese Youth: Fighters of a New Era, Making a Global Contribution.”
This event serves as an important platform for uniting youth efforts aimed at implementing the Agenda for Sustainable Development until 2030 and the Global Development Initiatives proposed by China.
The organizers of the forum jointly were the All-China Youth Federation, the UN structure in China, and the Organizing Committee of the World Youth Development Forum.
