Beijing, June 14 /Xinhua/ — Wang Huning, Chairman of the All-China Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), called for the promotion of high-quality construction of demonstration zones for integrated development between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait and for achieving greater success in stimulating cross-strait integrated development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030).
Van Huning, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CC CPC), spoke on Saturday in the city of Xiamen (Fujian Province, East China) at a meeting on promoting the construction of demonstration zones for integration development between the two shores of the Taiwan Strait.
