The engine factory “KAMAZ” turned 55 years old.
A memorable event was celebrated in the ‘Progress’ hall – the concert program was entirely dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the enterprise. Among the audience were leaders, current employees, and the founders, whose hands once created the engine plant. The jubilee event was opened with a video clip showing the entire journey the “engines” have gone through over these years: from historical footage to modern high-tech centers, from black-and-white scenes to colorful images of the present.

Also, from the stage, the honorary guest of the celebration — the deputy chairman of the trade union committee of “KAMAZ”, Vladislav Gavrilov, addressed the audience.“In 1971, a small point was set in the fields of Sovhoz — at that time, few believed that a giant plant would soon appear in this place. I want to express words of gratitude to our veterans who once dug the first foundation pit, and to acknowledge the work of modern diesel specialists. The engines you create today are the best. This is the heart of KAMAZ, without which not a single truck can come off the conveyor of the automobile plant. A deep bow for your work and dedication to the plant.”, – saidVladislav Gavrilov.
The ceremonial part continued with an awards ceremony: eight employees of the enterprise were recognized by the management for their conscientious, fruitful work and high professional skill.
A real warm gift for veterans and spectators was the performances by the factory’s amateur art groups. A pleasant surprise for the guests of the celebration was a video greeting from young diesel workers – the guys shared their vision of the factory, thanked the veterans, and promised to continue the work with dignity.
