Tbilisi, April 5 /Xin Hua/ — In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of agricultural exports from Georgia amounted to 423.2 million USD, having increased by 15 percent year-on-year. This was reported on Saturday by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
In particular, during the reporting period, there was a significant increase in the export of nuts, non-alcoholic carbonated beverages, fishmeal, bay leaf, mineral and fresh water, sheep.
In January-March of the current year, Georgian agricultural products were supplied to 88 countries worldwide. The main export destinations of the country were Russia ($131.9 million), the European Union ($68.9 million), and Azerbaijan ($44.8 million). –0–
