At the educational and scientific center of the Institute of Medicine and Medical Technologies of NGS, which relates to the second phase facilities of the new NGS campus, being constructed under the national project “Youth and Children,” technological equipment installation began.

Furniture is actively being imported, equipment for wastewater deactivation is being installed, as well as transfer boxes that will be used in laboratories and clean rooms. All construction and installation works, as well as landscaping of the area, have been fully completed.

In the new building of the UNTs IMMT, more than 700 students of medical, pharmaceutical, and psychological fields will be trained, including the new ones — “Medical Cybernetics” and “Industrial Pharmacy,” which appeared at NGU in 2025. The building will house practicums and laboratories of molecular pharmacology, metabolomic research, medical chemistry, molecular virology and oncology, and some others.

Also, in the basement of the UNC there will be one of the most modern and high-tech accreditation-simulation centers in Russia for training future doctors, with an area of about 1400 sq.m. In addition to standard simulators for training doctors, it includes a “Disaster Medicine” block and robots-simulators for endovideo surgery, ultrasound and endoscopic examinations. Here there will also be an accreditation center for doctors of various specialties, which makes the space a unified platform for training, practice, and objective assessment of professional skills.
