Architectural and finishing works are actively underway at the under-construction “Zvenigorodskaya” station of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line, as well as the installation of engineering systems and equipment. In addition, landscaping of the territory and technological connection of the station complex are in progress. “In the Khoroshyovo-Mnevniki district, the construction of the ‘Zvenigorodskaya’ station continues. It is at a high level of readiness: on an area of about 72 thousand square meters, rough finishing of technical rooms is underway, and finishing work is being carried out in parallel in the passenger zone and the block of technical rooms. About five thousand light gray granite slabs from a Siberian deposit have been laid on the floor of the platform section. The overall readiness of the station is estimated at 85 percent,” said Vladimir Efimov.
As of now, the equipment of the traction step-down substation has already been installed, more than 400 kilometers of power cable have been laid, over six kilometers of pipelines, and about 4.8 kilometers of overhead lines.
As part of the technological connection of the station complex, connection to the city’s sewage and water supply networks is underway. Roads and sidewalks will be constructed in the adjacent area.
The future station is planned to have six escalators — three in each of the two underground vestibules. Half of them have already successfully passed trial tests. For passengers, including those with limited mobility, eight elevators will be operational. Equipment installation is currently underway.
The Zvengorodskaya station is being built as part of the first launch phase of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line. It is located in the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district near the intersection of Shenogin Street, Shelepikhinskoye Highway, and 1st Silikatny Passage.
The station will have two underground vestibules for access to the existing and under-construction residential and public buildings, as well as to the city transport stops.
