Manila, April 5 /Cinhua/ — On Saturday, on a highway in the south of the Philippines, a collision occurred between a small truck and a minibus, resulting in the death of four people, including a three-year-old boy; at least 29 people were injured. This was reported on Sunday by the local police.

According to her data, the traffic accident occurred around 15:00 local time in the city of Aleosan, Cotabato province, when a truck moving along a sloped section of the road tried to overtake a slowly moving motorcycle. As seen in the footage from the surveillance camera, the truck then crashed into a safety island and overturned. It veered into the oncoming lane and collided with an approaching minivan.

As the police stated, passengers were poisoned inside the vehicles. Four of them, including a three-year-old boy, died after being taken to a nearby hospital.
