Pyongyang, June 8 /Xinhua/ — The General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the PRC Xi Jinping, on Monday expressed readiness to join efforts with the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK Kim Jong Un, to support the development of bilateral relations and achieve greater progress in bilateral ties.
In the course of negotiations with Kim Chen Inom Si Czinpin stated that he is ready to use this visit as an opportunity to strengthen the high-level planning of Sino-North Korean relations and their strategic leadership in the new period, contributing to the development of bilateral ties keeping pace with the times.
Si Jinping arrived in the DPRK on Monday for a two-day state visit.
