Recently in Yitan, Motzhan-Khanyi Autonomous County (Pu’er city, Yunnan province), rice planting work was fully launched. The fields are filled with a lively atmosphere — local residents are busy planting rice seedlings.
Currently, the area of rice plantations in Yutan is more than 2700 mu (about 180 hectares). Thanks to large-scale sowing, the annual grain production reaches approximately 950 tons, and the annual value of rice production amounts to up to 2.8 million yuan.
