Tehran, June 8 /Xin Hua/ — Israel attacked targets on Iranian territory. This was reported Monday morning by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The strikes were carried out using ballistic missiles from an air-based platform, the official IRNA news agency reported with reference to the KCI.
Earlier, Iranian state media disseminated information about explosions in several cities of the country, including Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, and Karaj.
The Israel Defense Forces stated on Telegram that the Israeli Air Force struck military targets in the western and central parts of Iran.
As reported on Monday by the Fars agency with reference to a regional official, the Karun oil refinery in the city of Bandar Mahshahr in southwestern Iran was hit by an Israeli projectile and sustained some damage. Later, Israeli military confirmed this on the social network X. –0–
