Beijing, June 5 /Xinhua/ — China firmly opposes another tightening of the US blockade and sanctions against Cuba, within the framework of which Washington included Cuban leaders in its sanctions list, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC stated on Friday.
This statement by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed after the United States imposed sanctions against the President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel and a number of persons and organizations associated with him, including his spouse and stepson, as well as the son and grandson of Cuban statesman Raul Castro.
