Order dated June 3, 2026, No. 1340-r
In 2026–2028, the Volgograd, Kursk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Saratov regions will receive subsidies for the implementation of projects related to the comprehensive development of urban electric transport, as well as for the improvement of adjacent territories. The order on the allocation of about 10.8 billion rubles for these purposes was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.
With these funds, it is planned to reconstruct tram tracks and arrange the adjacent territories, as well as to replenish the fleet of local carriers with new trams and electric buses.
“The appearance on the roads of modern buses, trolleybuses, trams, electric buses transforms the city, makes it more comfortable for life,” emphasized Mikhail Mishustin, commenting on the decision made at the Government meeting on June 3.
According to the Chairman of the Government, citizens are already seeing real changes, which are expressed in the expansion of route networks, reduction of travel time, increased comfort for passengers, and improvement of the ecological situation.
Work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project “Development of public transport” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
