At the fields of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a working meeting took place between the CEO of PJSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin and the Governor of the Ulyanovsk region Alexey Russkikh.

The parties discussed the development of the Dimitrovgrad auto aggregate plant (an enterprise of the OAT Group, part of the KAMAZ structure), diversification of production, and the infrastructure of Dimitrovgrad.

“We have established long-term partnership relationships with the company ‘KAMAZ’. It is important for us that DAAZ, as the city-forming enterprise of Dimitrovgrad, operates stably, develops, and expands cooperation with new partners. We see the interest of ‘KAMAZ’, as the parent company, in the preservation and development of production capacities, and this provides a solid foundation for joint work.”, – notedAleksey Russkyaccording to the results of the meeting.

The key topic was the loading of the capacities of the Dimitrovgrad auto-aggregate plant. With the support of the federal Industry Development Fund, an investment project is being implemented at DAAZ to modernize the production of stamped parts, welding, and galvanizing with the procurement of presses, robotic welding complexes, and a cathodic electrophoretic painting line. Modern manipulators have been added to the previously commissioned presses, ensuring automation of the process of moving blanks from position to position. Work has been completed to connect the entire complex of installed press equipment to energy resources.Commissioning work is underway.

The enterprise is actively working on expanding cooperation: in addition to traditional partners, including “UAZ”, “AVTOVAZ”, “KAMAZ”, modernization will help increase the competitiveness of the products and open up new opportunities for cooperation with leading automakers.

During the meeting, the construction of water supply networks for the industrial park DAAZ was also discussed. The new system will provide a stable water supply to the residents of the park and the company “Resurs,” which supplies heat to 35 thousand inhabitants of the Pervomaysky district. Special attention was given to the development of the social infrastructure of Dimitrovgrad.
