The Bank of Russia on June 5, 2026, issues a commemorative coin made of non-precious metals with a denomination of 10 rubles “Chuvash Republic” of the series “Russian Federation” (catalog number 5714-0116).
The coin is circular in shape with a diameter of 27.0 mm. The coin is bimetallic, consisting of a disc and an outer ring.
There is a raised edge along the circumference on the front and reverse side of the coin.
The side edge of the coin is reeded with the inscription “TEN RUBLES” repeated twice and separated by asterisks.
On the obverse side of the coin, inscriptions are located on the ring along the circumference: at the top part – “BANK OF RUSSIA”, at the bottom part – “2026”. To the left and right on the outer ring are images of laurel and oak branches, respectively, elements of the image depicted on the disk. In the center of the disk, the number “10” and the inscription “RUBLES” below it, indicating the coin’s denomination, are located. Inside the digit “0” there is a security element in the form of the number “10” and the inscription “RUB”, visible from different angles relative to the coin’s plane. At the bottom part of the disk is the trademark of the Moscow Mint.
On the reverse side of the coin is a relief image of the coat of arms of the Chuvash Republic; on the ring around the circumference there are relief inscriptions separated by dots: in the upper part – “РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ” (Russian Federation), in the lower part – “ЧУВАШСКАЯ РЕСПУБЛИКА” (Chuvash Republic).
Coin mintage – 1.0 million pieces.
The issued coin is legal tender for cash payments in the territory of the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.
