Almost 3 billion rubles will be allocated in total for the restoration of kindergartens, schools, and colleges in Dagestan and Chechnya that were damaged due to the floods in the spring of 2026. Orders regarding this have been signed.

Thanks to federal funding, 29 educational facilities will be repaired in Dagestan. In addition, it is planned to install seven prefabricated structures that will replace destroyed buildings. In Chechnya, three new educational facilities will be built and another 41 buildings will be repaired using federal funds.

“I want to draw special attention to the fact that more than half of the schools are located in rural areas, and many of them are the only ones in the village or settlement,” said Mikhail Mishustin, speaking about the decisions made at the Government meeting on June 3.

The head of the Cabinet asked the Ministry of Education to promptly allocate funds so that all restoration and repair work could be completed in full by the beginning of the new academic year.

The documents will be published.
