Modern validators have begun to appear at stationsMoscow Central Diameters(MTS). Equipment was installed at the stations Savyolovskaya, Kalitniki, Moskva-Tovarnaya, Grazhdanskaya, and Krasny Stroitel. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.Maksim Liksutov.

“At five MCC stations, 54 new devices have been installed. As per Sergei Sobyanin’s instructions, together with the carrier, we continue to develop a unified ticketing system in the metropolitan agglomeration. By the end of the year, the Central suburban passenger company will install over 100 more modern validators at MCC stations. The new devices will make fare payment even more convenient,” said Maxim Liksutov.

Modern validators have a number of advantages. Thanks to a bright screen with LED backlighting, information on the screen remains readable at any time of day — both at night and during the day. The devices are not afraid of rain and snow — reliable protection from precipitation guarantees stable operation in any weather. The durable vandal-proof casing provides high reliability and protection against damage. Moreover, autonomous validators can operate even without electricity.

“We are making fare payment more comfortable, technological, and reliable for our passengers. For this purpose, 93 modern validators have already been installed at the MCD border, as well as at the stations of the long-distance suburban lines. They are distinguished by enlarged bright screens, vandal-proof casing, and uninterrupted power supply, which allows stable operation even during power outages. The new devices are already placed at 12 stations on the Kursk, Kazan, Riga, and Savelovsky directions in Moscow and the Moscow region.””This year alone, we will install such validators at more than 40 stations of the MCC and the distant suburbs,” noted Ivan Konev, the general director of the Central Suburban Passenger Company.

The devices allow payment for travel by all major methods, including the physical and virtual “Troika”, the Muscovite card, and the bank card.
