Anyone wishing will be able to take part in the chess tournament “Thought of Victory.” 32 actors will play the roles of chess pieces in a gigantic game set to musical compositions. At the end, guests will be able to attend a concert by a military wind orchestra and hear famous Soviet songs, including “Smuglyanka” and “Evenings Near Moscow.”
In addition, thematic photo zones will be available, prize draws and performances by animators will take place, and guests will also be able to get face painting. The event will interest children and teenagers, including schoolchildren, cadets, young musicians and chess players, as well as adults — teachers, parents and military performers.
Master classes “Symphony of Tactics” are organized for guests, where military marches will be analyzed in a historical context. Visitors will learn about the musical instruments used in each piece.
At the lecture “Music of feat,” participants will be able to learn about the artist of wartime. It will be read by a candidate of historical sciences. The audience will discuss the contribution of creative teams to strengthening the moral spirit of the soldier during the Great Patriotic War, supporting the unity of the people and bringing Victory closer.
“The project ‘Rhythm of the Strategy: Music of Feat, Thought of Victory’ is a new form of dialogue with young citizens about important matters. When a young person makes a chess figure to the music of a symphony orchestra, he lives through a story. We go out together to the parks of the capital to break the stereotype: history is not in a closed hall.
