Washington, April 4 /Xin Hua/ — U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Saturday that Iran has 48 hours to reach an agreement on the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, otherwise it will face “hell.”
“Remember how I gave Iran ten days to make a deal or to open the Strait of Hormuz. The countdown timer — 48 hours left until the whole hell breaks loose,” wrote the American leader on his social network Truth Social.
On March 21, D. Trump threatened to “attack and wipe off the face of the earth” Iranian power plants if the country does not ensure the full opening of the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours.
