On June 6, the fourth eco-festival will be held in the capital. It will take place at the Northern River Station from 12:00 to 16:00.

“We invite you to attend the fourth eco-festival. For the first time, it will take place at the Northern River Terminal. Here you will be able to learn more about how to protect nature and form new useful eco-habits. We continue to participate in the important educational project under the task set by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin,” announced the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

Maksim Liksutov.

Guests are awaited by a rich program: master classes, lectures, gifts, and much more. Entrance is free.

Complete the eco-quest and solve the puzzles

Guests of the fourth eco-festival will be able to take part in an eco-quest, which will take place throughout the day on the territory near the Northern river station. Those who visit all the points and check in at them will receive prizes from Mosgortrans. In addition, from 12:30 to 13:30, it will be possible to meet the mascot of Moscow transport — the electric bus — and take commemorative photos with it.

Near the Northern river station building there is an area with an electric bus, where interactive safety lessons will be held. Puzzle enthusiasts will be waiting by the GP battery brand stand. Here a quiz will also be organized.

Exchange books and visit the recycling museum exhibition

During the day, a virtual reality simulator will operate on the first floor of the station building. Here, there will also be games and master classes organized by the Resource Economy Center: from 12:00 to 13:00 – a large ecological quiz; from 13:00 to 14:00 – a game on attention and speed. From 14:00 to 15:00, a waste processing plant will open, and from 15:00 to 16:00 there will be a game “What is made from what.”

Additionally, there will be a game room open all day with board games published by “Evrikus”. For those who want to exchange books and find new literature to read, a book sharing zone will be organized.

The eco-stand prepared by the eco-center “Sborca” will be located in the station gallery. Here, the exhibition of the recycling museum will be presented, as well as the eco-quest “Not garbage, but secondary raw materials” and an interactive master class on plastic recycling will be organized. From 14:00 to 15:00, there will be an “Eco-quiz!” with useful prizes from the eco-magazine “SHEL”.

Create toys for dogs and sell plastic containers

On the central square, master classes will be held: a workshop on making a hanging planter in the macrame technique will be organized from 12:00 to 16:00 by the construction store “Lemana PRO”, and from 12:00 to 14:00 there will be a workshop on making dog toys by the “Second Breath” foundation.

The Moscow Transport Museum invites you to join the master classes: from 13:00 to 14:00 — oneco-friendly transport, and from 14:00 to 15:00 — byecodoodling. Preliminary registration is required to participate.

The entire day on the central square, the safety school of the city bike rental service “Velobike” will be operating. It is here that the artist of the project “Music in the Metro” will perform for the festival guests.

In addition, throughout the day, residents will be able to hand over accumulated plastic and aluminum containers at the EcoHero project collection point and receive partner bonuses for this.

Ecology education is one of the most relevant trends of the 21st century. In Moscow, free regular events are held for children and adults aimed at fostering a responsible attitude towards the environment.
