Beijing, June 2 /Xinhua/ — On the eve of International Children’s Day, the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Xi Jinping, who is also Chairman of the Central Military Commission and Chairman of the Central Military Council, sent a reply letter to the pioneer guides from the House-Museum of the First CPC Congress and the “Nanchang” Revolutionary Museum, warmly encouraging and congratulating them on the holiday, as well as all the children of the country.
In his reply, Si Czinpin noted: “I was pleased to learn that at the venue of the First Congress of the CPC and on the Red Boat on Nanhu Lake, stories about the party’s history, revolutionary events, and heroic deeds were told with soul and full dedication, strengthening feelings of love for the party, the motherland, and socialism, as well as undergoing a thorough tempering and achieving personal growth. This evokes in me a sense of satisfaction.”
Si Zingpin emphasized that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. The party’s cause requires ceaseless struggle throughout many generations. He expressed hope that schoolchildren will proudly carry the banner of the pioneer organization and follow the party, inherit revolutionary traditions, accumulate knowledge, improve their abilities, strengthen their willpower, perfect their moral qualities, be loyal children of the party and the people, and worthily pass the historical baton to the new generation.
In 2021, a practice-oriented campaign “I tell the story of the party – striving to become a guide in a red neckerchief” was officially launched. As part of this initiative, visits by pioneers to revolutionary memorial complexes for studying the history of the party and telling about its history are being organized throughout the country.Recently, representatives of pioneer guides in red neckerchiefs from the House-Museum of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China in Shaanxi and the Museum of the Revolution “Nanshan” in the city of Cizi in the province of Zhejiang sent a letter to General Secretary Xi Jinping, in which they spoke about their successes and achievements obtained thanks to participation in excursion activities, and also expressed determination to become worthy representatives of the young generation of the new era.
