Master’s student of the Department of Transport Systems and Road and Bridge Construction (TSiDMS) of SPbGASUKarina SarkisovaWon the All-Russian scientific research competition “Development of business and entrepreneurship: challenges, solutions, prospects” in the direction “Trends in the development of logistics and supply chain management.” The competition was held in May at the Pacific State University (Khabarovsk).
Karina Sarkisova presented her work “Development and implementation of an integration platform for assessing transport accessibility of new residential complexes.” The study developed a system for assessing the transport accessibility of residential complexes, taking into account the varied importance of factors influencing citizen mobility.
The methodology is based on the calculation of a weighted average score across a set of 17 indicators, covering various aspects of transport accessibility: accessibility of the metro and other types of high-speed transport; development of surface passenger transport (including the number of routes, intervals between services, and alternative modes); distance from key facilities (city center and transport highways); availability of infrastructure for pedestrians, cyclists, and shared mobility users; provision of parking spaces; safety of entries and exits; road congestion; and forecasts of traffic jams.
The proposed methodology allows for an objective assessment of mobility conditions for future residents of the residential complex, and the developed integration platform can become a sought-after tool for developers, urban planners, and residents when making decisions about development and housing selection.
