Within the framework of the XII Forum of Road Initiatives during the construction of the Adler bypass, the opening of the movement on the new access road to the sanatorium “Kudepsta” took place. This is a two-lane section of the road with an overpass, a sidewalk for pedestrians, and lighting. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government Marat Khusnullin.
“We continue to implement infrastructure projects across the country, including building city roads. One of these projects is the Adler bypass road in the Krasnodar region. Thanks to it, it will be possible to divert transit transport out of the resort area, create comfortable conditions for local residents and guests of the Black Sea coast, and also reduce travel time to Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana airports. Currently, work on the site is in full swing. On the eve of the summer season, road workers launched traffic along the new approach to the “Kudepsta” sanatorium.”The entrance includes a two-lane overpass equipped with a pedestrian sidewalk and lighting for safe movement during dark hours of the day. “From this season onward, views of the sea and the frame of Saint Fyodor Ushakov will be opened,” said Marat Khusnullin.
The artificial structure began to be erected in 2024. It stands on five supports up to 10.2 m high. A total of more than 2,000 sq. m of asphalt concrete has been laid on it, taking into account the area for lanes and sidewalks. For the construction of its span part, more than 1,000 cubic meters of high-strength concrete were required. The pedestrian walkway over the overpass will also receive the “Avtomobilist” sanatorium.
The overpass, approximately 128 meters long and 12 meters wide, was constructed using a prestressed reinforcement system with the use of entirely domestic technologies. This solution increases the load-bearing capacity of the structure and prevents the appearance of cracks.
According to the chairman of the board of the state company “Avtodor” Vyacheslav Petushenko, the new access road to the sanatorium was built as part of the construction of the transport interchange of the Adler bypass and the federal highway A-147.
“In the course of this work near the overpass, the section of Susumskoye Highway will also be reconstructed with the construction of a retaining wall complex, the arrangement of a new bus stop pavilion opposite the frame, a new parking area along the frame of Saint Fyodor Ushakov for arrivals, residents of the city and vacationers, an underground pedestrian crossing will be reconstructed. The adjacent territory along Susumskoye Highway will also be improved. After the completion of the work, a modern urban space will appear here, taking into account the interests of both motorists and pedestrians.”In addition, we continue the transfer of cultural heritage objects included in the ensemble of the “Kudepsta” sanatorium. These works have passed a state historical and cultural examination in accordance with the legislation. Today, part of the historic retaining wall has already been moved and is being reassembled on a concrete foundation closer to the administrative building of the health resort. Later, restored pavilions will be located there by the waterside, as well as an arched niche with a mascaron lion,
