On the eve of the summer tourist season, the city of Qingdao in Shandong Province has presented 12 exclusive “cruise + shore excursions” routes designed for tourists of different ages and various interests. These routes cover themes such as urban landscapes, cultural and historical sights, as well as unique entertainments, allowing a larger number of tourists to experience the unique charm of “beach vacations combined with city impressions.”

According to Qingdao customs data, in 2025 the total number of passengers arriving at and departing from Qingdao cruise terminal reached 73 thousand people, which is 46.2% more than the previous year. The cruise economy is becoming a new driver of Qingdao’s development as a modern maritime city.
