U.N., May 26 /Xinhua/ — China will hold a forum on global governance in a new district of Xiong’an in Hebei Province (Northern China) this autumn. This was announced on Tuesday by a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, China’s foreign minister Wang Yi.

He spoke before journalists after chairing a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the topic “Defending the Goals and Principles of the UN Charter and Strengthening the International System, in which the UN holds a central place.” The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic stated that China is eagerly awaiting meetings with friends from around the world to discuss the most important issues of global governance.
