The business climate indicator of the Bank of Russia in May was 1.7 points after 2.1 points in April. Companies, better than a month earlier, assessed the current situation with demand. At the same time, their expectations for production output and demand over the next 3 months have become more moderate.
Business price expectations have noticeably decreased compared to April and overall have fallen below the 2024–2025 range.
