“KAMAZ” presents at the International Specialized Exhibition CTT EXPO/COMvex-2026 a wide range of high-tech automobiles of the K5 generation on a sanction-resistant component base.
The company’s large-scale exposition includes more than 25 units of technology: alongside KAMAZ’s own developments in the pavilion and on the outdoor site, projects created jointly with the auto giant’s partners and special equipment manufacturing plants (ZIST) are presented.
One of the key exhibits was the 2026 novelty –Weekly tractor generation K5 KAMAZ-65656 (6×4)In the configuration meeting the requirements of the ADR (Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road). The vehicle is intended for operation as part of a road train with a total mass of up to 44 tons and is equipped with specialized equipment for transporting dangerous goods. It is equipped with a time-tested KAMAZ-689 engine with a power of 390 hp and a 12-speed automated gearbox with a retarder brake, which allows for safer negotiation of long descents and reduces wear on the main braking mechanisms. The vehicle is distinguished by a modern comfortable cabin 2.3 m wide with a low roof and a single sleeping berth. The total weight of the vehicle is 28 tons.
Also at the exhibition, another representative of the K5 flagship line is being demonstrated –KAMAZ-54901 (4×2) highway tractor in Hi-tech version. Among the advantages of this model is the intelligent driver assistance system (ADAS), which includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, and emergency braking system. In addition, equipped are electronic braking system (EBS) and electronic stability program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS), hill start assist (HSA), and traction control system (ASR). These technologies together provide maximum road safety by minimizing risks associated with the human factor. The modern ergonomic cabin is equipped with a sleeping place and all the essentials for long trips along federal highways. In the new version, the exterior of the KAMAZ-54901 vehicle is complemented by fairings installed on the cabin and chassis, which improve aerodynamics and allow fuel consumption to be reduced by 5 to 10%. The KAMAZ-54901 in the Hi-Tech version is equipped with a new economical six-cylinder inline KAMAZ engine with a power of 560 hp (in the base version -54901, the engine is rated at 483 hp) and a 12-speed automated transmission with a retarder (retarder brake).
Presented to the attention of visitorsRefrigerator on the latest medium-duty chassis KAMAZ-53252 (4×2). Its distinctive feature is a new cabin with a low tunnel (320 mm), which allowed minimizing the overall chassis height and ensuring ease of boarding and alighting by reducing the number of steps. The model has increased maneuverability, meeting the requirements of major retailers for technology suitable for working in dense urban development. Capacity – 14 europallets. The vehicle is equipped with a cooling and heating unit powered by the chassis engine. The refrigerator has the best-in-segment equipped mass, which allows optimal distribution of the useful load along the axles according to the Transport Rules: 7.5 tons on the front and 10 tons on the drive axle (the technically permissible load on the drive axle is 11.5 tons).
For work in the agricultural sector, the auto giant offersGrain truck on the new chassis of generation K5 KAMAZ-65657 (6×4)with a 12-speed robotic transmission and a pneumatic suspension of the driving axles. The vehicle is equipped with a box-type platform with a volume of 32 cubic meters, with a base and sidewall thickness of 2 mm. In the basic configuration, the grain truck is equipped with load sensors on the driving axles with data displayed on a ten-inch screen of the onboard information system. The vehicle is intended for operation as part of a road train with a total mass of up to 44 tons.
A specialty relevant to work in various industries is demonstrated in the street exhibition. For the first time, a new version of an all-wheel drive vehicle is presented to the general public.of the articulated dump truck Hercules-45 on the KAMAZ-6558 (6×6) chassis. Its main purpose is the transportation of bulk cargo over rough terrain and dirt roads. The vehicle can also be used in the development of quarry deposits and pits for the extraction of mineral resources. The dump truck is equipped with a hydraulic gearbox and a powerful, economical KAMAZ R6 engine (520 hp). The use of rigid axles with ‘wet’ hydraulic brakes allows the machine to be operated in extreme conditions without losing braking efficiency and with minimal wear of mechanisms. This model is equipped with a cabin that provides operator protection according to the ROPS/FOPS standard. An intelligent ADAS first-level warning and emergency braking system is also installed on board the vehicle. The dump platform volume is 26 cubic meters. The chassis equipped mass is 32 tons.
For work in the construction sector, the company offersOnboard vehicle with CMU on KAMAZ-65657 chassis. It is equipped with a articulated crane-manipulator system with a load moment of 21.65 tm and a maximum boom reach of up to 12.3 meters. The model is equipped with an aluminum platform 7 meters long and side panel height of 580 mm. The vehicle has a full sleeping berth, an automatic climate control system, and a multifunctional information system with multimedia.
Nevertheless, KAMAZ solutions are also in demand in the logging sector: modern ones are presented at the open siteFlatbed wagons on KAMAZ-65952 (6×6) and KAMAZ-6595 (6×4) chassis. The vehicles are equipped with a powerful 560-horsepower engine with a dual-disc clutch and a comfortable cabin with a sleeping area. The frame and chassis elements have an increased durability margin, fully meeting the stringent requirements of logging operators. Timber trucks can carry up to 28 cubic meters of wood, and in a road train configuration with a four-axle trailer, this figure reaches an impressive 69 cubic meters. The vehicle design takes into account requirements for weight distribution and the layout of components, maintainability, and reliability under real operating conditions.
The presented models are only part of the impressive exposition of KAMAZ. In addition to forest and construction equipment, a wide range of other specialized solutions created in close cooperation with leading suppliers is demonstrated at the company’s and its partners’ stand. These include modern tractor units, fuel tankers, garbage trucks, and a unique, the most load-carrying tow truck in Russia.
