At the first meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the development of artificial intelligence technologies, the structure of the national plan for the implementation of artificial intelligence in the sectors of the economy, social sphere, and public administration was considered. Work on the document continues with the participation of representatives of business, regions, the scientific and expert community. This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Government – Head of the Government Apparatus Dmitry Grigorenko.
“Following the directive of the President of Russia, we continue to work on the national plan for the implementation of artificial intelligence. The structure of the document has already been defined, and the formation of key indicators for industries is being completed. The work is carried out jointly by federal and regional authorities, business, scientific, and expert communities,” said Dmitry Grigorenko.
Earlier, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, instructed the Government, together with the heads of regions, to develop a national plan for the implementation of artificial intelligence at the level of the entire country, taking into account the tasks of economic sectors and subjects of the Russian Federation.
The Interdepartmental Commission on the Development of Technologies and Artificial Intelligence was established by decree of the President of Russia for the coordination and monitoring of activities related to the development of AI technologies and their implementation in the economy, social sphere, and public administration.
Co-chairmen of the commission are Deputy Chairman of the Government – Head of the Government Office Dmitry Grigorenko and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Maksim Oreshkin.
