As of the results of the first quarter of 2026, the total volume of assets in individual investment accounts (IIAs) increased by 9%, reaching 969 billion rubles.

The net inflow of funds into IIS amounted to 64 billion rubles and was twice as high as the equivalent period in 2025. Investors were more actively investing in securities against the backdrop of a gradual decline in the attractiveness of bank deposits. The most sought-after instrument among IIS holders remained Russian bonds, whose share in the portfolio increased to 45%. Most often, investors chose long-term federal loan bonds and bonds of issuers with a high credit rating.

A total of 6.5 million accounts have been opened, of which about 1.6 million belong to third-type IIS.
