The first qualifying stage of the XXI Summer Sports Games “Rosneft” took place in Ryazan. Athletes from seven teams from Krasnoyarsk, Ufa, Samara, Angarsk, Orenburg, and Moscow participated in the sporting event.
Rosneft supports amateur sports, conducting large-scale work to promote a healthy lifestyle both among its employees and among the population in the regions of its activity. The company annually holds Summer and Winter sports games — the largest mass events, in which thousands of oil industry workers participate.
The Summer Games include qualifying stages and the final. Each stage includes 20 disciplines. Among them are individual sports: swimming, athletics, kettlebell lifting, shot put, shooting, chess, table tennis, billiards, darts. There are also team sports: volleyball, basketball, mini-football, and tug of war.
Athletes of the Company traditionally demonstrate determination, willpower, and a sporting character in the fight for medals. The first qualifying stage lasted 4 days, during which 33 sets of awards were contested in individual and team competitions.
As a result of a fierce struggle, the tickets to the final part of the XXI Summer Sports Games “Rosneft” were won by the teams “RN-Vankor” and “Angarsk Polymer Plant”.
The preliminary stages of the Summer Games “Rosneft” will also take place in Samara, Tyumen, Krasnodar, Khanty-Mansiysk, Ufa, Krasnoyarsk, and Moscow.

The first mass sports competitions of “Rosneft” took place in 2005. Since then, the competitions have become part of the Company’s corporate culture. The Summer Games are a vivid example of effective promotion of a healthy lifestyle, strengthening friendship and camaraderie, and supporting mass sports.
Athletes of “Rosneft” also participate in all major mass sports competitions held in our country, taking prize places.
The company has a corporate sports and wellness movement called “Energy of Life,” within which employees regularly engage in sports and compete in various sports disciplines. In 2025, the total number of movement participants reached 134 thousand employees. More than 96 thousand employees took part in competitions in various sports.
