Beijing, May 22 /Xin Hua/ — Openness to the outside world is the fundamental state policy of China, and China has never demanded its technological enterprises to refuse foreign investment, said on Friday Li Chao, an official representative of the State Committee for Development and Reform /NDRC/ of China.
“China supports its enterprises in integrating into the global innovation network and in engaging in mutually beneficial international exchanges and cooperation,” Li Chao noted at the press conference.
She emphasized that the investment activities of foreign investors must comply with Chinese laws and regulations and must not harm national security or China’s interests.
China will continue to implement the Foreign Investment Law, improve business conditions, and properly manage risks, Li Qiao added.
