Bishkek, May 21 /Xin Hua/ — Kyrgyzstan is observing a significant increase in tourist flow; in 2025, about 5.31 million people visited the country, which is approximately 45% more than in 2024. This was reported on Thursday by the Kyrgyz National Information Agency Kabar, citing data from the country’s National Statistical Committee.

At the same time, the tourism infrastructure in Kyrgyzstan is also expanding: in 2025, the country had 842 recreation and tourism organizations, which is 9.8% more year-on-year.

Experts note that the increase in tourism infrastructure and the growth in the number of vacationers indicate a further strengthening of Kyrgyzstan’s tourism industry and its attractiveness as a destination for domestic and international tourism, the statement notes. –0–
