Alexander Novak met with representatives of the entrepreneurial community of Krasnoyarsk Krai
Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, during a working trip to the Krasnoyarsk Territory, met with representatives of the region’s business circles. The event was also attended by Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov, and representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Within the framework of the meeting, entrepreneurs representing various industries, including light industry, clothing design and production, energy, advertising, and the restaurant business, were able to raise the most important and pressing issues, receive answers from representatives of specialized departments, and outline growth points for the near future. They discussed the protection of intellectual property, promotion on the marketplace, development of industrial territories, mandatory labeling of goods within the “Honest Sign” system, and its impact on small businesses.
“Krasnoyarsk Krai is one of the key industrial regions of the country, and the SME sector here is not just growing, but changing the structure of the economy. The share of small and medium-sized businesses in GRP increased by 2.4 percentage points from 2020 to 2024. This became possible thanks to the fact that the state is adapting support measures to accelerate the structural transformation of the economy. Resources are concentrated on removing restrictions and costs in the economy, increasing internal efficiency, and fair rules of the game,” noted Alexander Novak.
Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov said that at the Ministry of Economic Development, together with the FAS, the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Russia, the SME Corporation, and public associations, a special headquarters was created to develop systemic measures to resolve the issue of payment deferrals from large corporations. “Within the framework of the headquarters, we conduct ‘flight analysis’ for each specific corporation. Therefore, we urge small businesses to more actively inform us about problems. For this purpose, there is a platform of the FAS of Russia, as well as regional centers of ‘My Business.'””Thanks to this active work, approximately half of the cases are already settled on the basis of the ‘MSP Corporation’,” emphasized Maksim Reshetnikov.
The Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Mikhail Kotyukov, noted the active development of entrepreneurship in the territory of the subject, as well as the need for support from the SME sector for further growth.
“Krasnoyarsk Krai is forming one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems in Siberia. Today, almost 120 thousand small and medium-sized business entities operate in the region – over the year this number has grown by 3.7%. The highest growth rates are shown by the spheres of culture, IT, service, and creative industries. Our task is to create conditions under which businesses can more quickly launch new projects, scale up production, and expand into new markets,” said Mikhail Kotyukov.
