Minsk, May 18 /Xin Hua/ — Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Belarus for the period from January to April 2026 increased by 0.2%. Corresponding information was published by the Belarusian National Statistical Committee (Belstat) on Monday.
According to the initial estimate, the country’s GDP at current prices amounted to 94.5 billion Belarusian rubles (about 34.3 billion US dollars), or at comparable prices — 100.2 percent compared to the level of the corresponding period of 2025.
The GDP deflator index for the first four months of 2026 compared to the same period last year was 110 percent.
