Almaty, May 18 /Xin Hua/ — A public opinion poll on the level of trust in the country’s president was conducted in Kazakhstan. This was reported on the day by the Kazinform news agency.
According to the results of a survey conducted in April by the Kazakh Strategic Research Institute under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the population’s trust level in the head of state was 86.7 percent. The indicator has remained stably high over recent years, reflecting sustained public support for the course of modernization and renewal of the country, emphasized the information agency.
The highest level of trust was recorded among youth — 91.4%. Among city residents, the level of trust in the president was 86.9%, among the rural population — 86.7%.
It is noted that the analysis of the data by education level did not reveal significant differences in the level of trust in the president. At the same time, it is indicated that trust noticeably increases with the growth of citizens’ purchasing power.
