Guyana, May 15 /Xin Hua/ — A member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress /NPC/, Zhao Lezi urged the country’s legislative bodies to make a more active contribution to the implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan /2026-2030/ and to promote modernization in the Chinese style.
Zhao Leyci made this appeal during an inspection trip to Guizhou Province / Southwest China, which took place from May 13 to 15.
During the trip, he inspected the contact points of the people’s deputies’ assemblies (SNP), enterprises, and rural districts, where he communicated with legislators and local residents, listened to opinions and suggestions for improving the SNP system’s operations.
Chjao Leczi also visited legislative bodies at the district and provincial levels to familiarize himself with their work, including the election code for district and volosts’ people’s soviets and issues of budgetary control.
The Chairman of the Supreme People’s Court of the People’s Republic of China demanded to optimize the legal frameworks in the fields of scientific and technological innovation, industrial support, fiscal and tax policy, financial services, and transition to a low-carbon economy to promote the high-quality development of China.
Moreover, Zhao Lezi emphasized that legislators must maintain close ties with the masses and conscientiously implement people’s democracy in practice throughout the entire process.
