55 years ago, a “little ball” set the “big ball” in motion — thus “ping-pong diplomacy” melted the ice in relations between China and the USA. Today, it is gaining popularity among clubs, and thanks to its unique charm, this sport unites youth on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.

As part of China’s “50 thousand in 5 years” initiative, teachers and students from the American state of Maryland traveled to China to meet with sports friends.
