Almaty, April 3 /Xin Hua/ — In Kazakhstan, according to the results of 2023-2025, production in the oil and gas industry sector increased by 173 percent. This was reported by the information agency Kazinform on Friday, referring to the director of the Department of Oil and Gas and Technical Regulation of the Ministry of Energy, Temirlan Urkumbaev.

Speaking at the annual conference “Kazneftegazservice — 2026” in Astana, the director stated that production increased from 358 thousand tons in 2023 to 619 thousand tons in 2025.

He stated that the formed dynamics create the foundation for further increasing the output of finished products. The production plan for 2026 is about 600 thousand tons.
