Beijing, April 3 /Xinhua/ — The drug control agencies of China, Thailand, and Vietnam conducted a joint operation on Thursday to combat transnational drug manufacturing, detaining 41 suspects, the Ministry of Public Security /MPS/ of the PRC reported on Friday.

As indicated by the agency, during a law enforcement raid, three underground laboratories producing drugs were liquidated on the territory of three countries and 6 kg of powdered etomidate, 65 liters of liquid etomidate, and 15 kg of kratom leaves were seized.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, operatives also confiscated about 5 tons of chemical precursors and several units of equipment for drug manufacturing.
